Convert Facebook Messenger Group to Messenger Room (Android)

Open Messenger App.
Tap Create Room.

Tap on the pencil icon on the top right.

If the text under Who can join automatically says Anyone with the link can join without a request, skip to this step...


If the text under Who can join automatically says Only people you invite can join without a request, tap the text.

Tap on Anyone with the link.

Hit the back arrow on the top left.

If you’d like to rename your room, you can do so by tapping Room activity.

Tap on the SAVE button on the top right.

Tap on the name of your current prayer group.

Tap the blue SEND button.

Now that you have successfully created a Messenger Room, your final step to complete this process is to fill out the Modify Group form.
